There are two things that influence me when getting dressed: one is my mood. Some days you wake up feeling more feminine (usually I go out in a dress!), and some days you just feel so lazy you can’t even open your eyes (then it’s time for the uniform skinny + flats)… And the second thing is the weather, obviously! Beyond defining if it’s hot or cold, the seasons also influence us a lot if you think about it In summer everything is more colorful: the plants are green, we dive into juices and popsicles to refresh ourselves, go to the beach covered in printed sarongs…

Then I end up wanting to bring all this joy (I am so much more joyful in sunny days!) to my outfit. Does that happen to you as well? Exactly! I went digging through Netlook, looking for pieces that would help compose a more daring look for this Summer. The pieces are not expensive and since you all know how much I love good accessories, you can see how this striped dress (which costs R$89,00 btw) gets more life when combined to a vibrant color wallet and printed platform shoes (I believe this is my favorite shoe from this Corello’s collection!)

An article we see often, but usually in neutral tones: the lace dress! But in this Netlook version, it is green/blue and looks so much cooler if you decide to break the romanticism of the lace with daring shoes, like this Luiza Barcelos!! It works because the shades are similar, but I know not everyone would have the courage to do it, lol… And, of course, a colorful purse. If you are daring, do it completely!

And if you’ve read this far and now has your jaw to the floor thinking “poor thing, she went nuts!”, here is a proposal of a daring look that is a little more basic, if I might say so!!! Shiny skirt + shiny bracelets (I have this one!!! I LOVE it! The idea is to wear two, one in each arm, you know how!) and the rest very neutral… Or… Almost, right. Beige shoes, but very high ones, lol! Let’s leave black and gray to the next winter, shall we?

One of my favorite London purchases was made at Urban Outfitters. But unlike you might be imagining my goal upon entering the store was not to buy clothes or accessories: I went straight to the home objects section!!! I adore their selection, the store is full of fun decoration objects and most times the prices are very friendly, which was the case of this frame that now adorns my bookshelf: it cost 6 pounds!!! And got broken inside the suitcase, lol, it has no glass, did you notice? Someday I will get it repaired…

Check it out: I was browsing the website Segredo do Vitório (remember it?) so I could send a link to a reader and actually stumbled upon ( I believe) the very same frame!!! And again with a friendly price! It costs 26 Reais and comes in several colors… I also got a blue one at Urban, but now I want the lime green one I saw at SdV!! The tip is out for those who want to get a cheap present or are looking for a cute way to color the house!

After almost a week at home, due to another problem in my eye resulting from contact lens, today was finally time to go back to the office! But it was also a day of feeling lazy, due to the beginning of our dear daylight saving time, which messes up with almost everybody’s sleepzzzzZZzzzZZZzz.

That’s why I came very comfortable, with pants and blouse a little more loose. As to not look sloppy, accessories, of course! Leaf bracelet which surrounds the left side tattoo (can you see a piece of it?)…

Colorful necklace that looks like candy (I’m in love with it!), and of course, good heels to make any outfit more dignified, lol!

I’m wearing:
Pants Zara
T-Shirt Maria Bonita
Necklace OZ Store
Bracelet Topshop
Bag Marc by Marc Jacobs
Shoes Carmen Steffens
Nailpolish Nightfall, MAC
I know I abuse my hair’s goodwill a little. I bleach it, apply tint over it, use a thousand and one fixative products, blow-dry it almost every day, curl it over once a week… Poor thing!! That’s why once in a while I look at pictures and get a mini-scare, since the ends are on the verge of screaming for help =///

At the beginning of this year it was dreadful, so I got a lot of products to help and minimize the damage, besides taking a break from bleaching (almost six months without it!!). One of my favorites is this shampoo from the Kérastase Resistance line, the Bain Age Recharge. It’s indicated for “inelastic scalp and hair that has lost its matter”. In other words, hair that has been abused, lol!

The first bottle I got ended a few weeks ago and I already got another one before that one was over! It’s not a cheap product, ranging between 80 to 90 Reais (depending on your luck! They are for sale on beauty parlors), but it’s not to be used daily, so it lasts for a good while! When I use it, I notice the hair gets more shiny and easier to comb, which reduces my distress over the dry ends, making me postpone for a while the drastic decision of appealing to scissors! I recommend it for those who like to play with their hair!
